Safetysuit - "Life Left to Go"

For my first official post, I thought I would start off with an album that is quality from beginning to end. While I only recommend an album when three or more songs are really good and the rest are decent, all 12 tracks on this album are "really good."

Album: Life Left to Go
Artist: Safetysuit
Original Release Date: May 13, 2008

Tracks:

1. Someone Like You
2. Apology
3. Find A Way
4. Stay (Sample)
5. Something I Said
6. Anywhere But Here
7. Down
8. The Moment
9. Annie
10. What If
11. Gone Away
12. Life Left To Go

A Little Housekeeping

Before I get started actually recommending songs, I thought I would let you readers know exactly what kinds of things are going to be posted here. Basically, every post is going to fall into two categories; newly released music (released less than 3 weeks ago) and music that was released more than three weeks ago. Both of these posts could be one of two types of posts. Either I will be recommending one song off an album, or I will be recommending the album as a whole. I will only be recommending the album if three or more songs are worthy. If the music is considered “new” I will try not to do something that is obviously popular unless I think it warrants the praise. In addition, I’m not going to go fully into describing the songs or album themselves that I recommend, rather I will post the basic information about them and then post a sample. I choose to do this because I believe the best way for you to judge whether or not you want to purchase the music is by hearing a sample. Enjoy!

New Blog

Over the past year, I've had a knack for predicting songs that will become popular in the future. In addition, I've also expanded my music library looking far and wide for non-mainstream bands that produce great music. Therefore, I've decided to start this blog. Posts will my thoughts on new albums that come out as well as CD's that I've acquired that I think need to be shared with the world....
